The Board of Supervisors are taking applications for openings on the County Board of Health. This will be to fill two positions with a term expiring on December 31, 2026. Anyone interested in this position must submit their application to the County Auditor’s Office by 4 pm December 18, 2026.
Board of Health: One member of the five-person Board of Health must be a licensed physician, physician assistant, advanced registered nurse practitioner or advanced practice registered nurse. The Board is responsible for policy and program direction for public health services offered by the county. Services include environmental health, disease prevention and investigation, public health nursing, health planning and development, health promotion and education, public health preparedness, and home care services. Meetings are held bi-monthly. Three-year term of office.
